Specific reason for increasing cost
The original water supply scheme was constructed during the financial year 2014–15. However, based on current site conditions, the scheme has remained non-functional for the past 2 years, primarily due to the severely deteriorated condition of the existing pipeline infrastructure.
During the initial phase of implementation, approximately 10 km of 4 kg/cm² PVC pipeline was laid. While this was adequate at the time, the design significantly limited the reach and effectiveness of the distribution system and failed to meet the long-term service requirements of the village.
