Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Dattipur Water Supply Scheme, Block Bhadohi, water supply to Kanehari, affecting 100 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works.
To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 5938 meters has been proposed, which includes:
Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.
Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses.
Replacement and rehabilitation of choked portions of the pipeline.
The additional work required for these repairs and new connections has led to an increase in the overall project cost.
