Specific reason for increasing cost
Under the Seur Water Supply Scheme, Block Aurai, water supply to Seur village and its habitations — Brahman Basti and Harijan Basti — covering 300 households, has been disrupted due to choked sections of the existing pipeline and damage caused during road widening works. The scheme is presently non-functional.To restore and improve the water supply, a total pipeline length of 6,853 meters has been proposed, which includes:Replacement of damaged sections of the existing pipeline along the road.Provision of new connections for recently constructed houses.Rehabilitation of choked and non-functional pipeline sections.The additional works required for repairing damaged pipelines, providing new household connections, and replacing non-functional and choked sections have resulted in an increase i
